Medieval is a incredible game although its age is starting to show. Mods try to remedy this with better looking cities, nicer UI and a larger campaign map, but even i still go back to vanilla with some slight tweaks rather than the full on conversion mods. It's absolutely worth playing but it has one of the best mods of any game.
Steam has Medieval II Total War for $5. Is it worth it alone? I guess what I'm really looking to figure out is if the expansion adds anything to the ORIGINAL campaign or is it like Barbarian Invasion for Rome: Total War where it adds another campaign with campaign-specific units/civs?
Walls (Medieval II: Total War) Walls are buildings in Medieval II: Total War. A wall is essential to defenses of town or city. It also enables building of towers and without building wall, town or city cannot be improved to next level. Wall are are also important, when it comes to free upkeep garrison units number, but only units recruited in
Medieval 2: Total War is the latest in the Total War series of strategy games from Crative Assembly, which builds on the success of its predecessors, Rome: Total War, Medieval: Total War and Shogun: Total War. Another possibility is a sequel to Empire: Total War, expanding the game's scope to include more regions. Exploring the European Renaissance in the 15th and 16th centuries could provide an interesting look

Get at least a basic level of roads up fairly early. It's a worthwhile investment. If you can get an assassin over there, it's not that hard to
Neithan May 13, 2016 @ 4:31pm. There is basically two kinds of siege equipment. One is build in the field (ram, ladder, siege tower), and can only be build with build points once you started the siege, thus need at least one extra turn. The other type is the artillery you can build at the siege works (ballista, catapult, trebuchet, all kinds of
